The Solution Creating the Ideal Space
Northleaf Capital Partners embarked on a comprehensive office renovation project spanning two floors, with the aim of creating a workspace that balanced focused individual work with opportunities for collaboration. Recognizing the importance of getting the layout just right, the project included a critical pilot phase conducted in Northleaf’s existing space. This pilot allowed employees to test various configurations, including workstations, ancillary products, and focus areas, while gathering their feedback on how these spaces could best support their work.
The insights gathered during the pilot phase proved invaluable in shaping the final office layout. It became clear that Northleaf’s teams leaned more heavily toward independent, heads-down work than initially anticipated, while still needing collaborative areas. This feedback-driven approach, combined with a focus on employee engagement and alignment, enabled Northleaf to gather valuable insights from their teams. This data allowed them to make informed decisions that optimized the workspace to support their specific work styles, ensuring an ideal balance between individual and collaborative environments.
Over the course of 18 months, the project evolved into a thoughtfully designed environment that catered to both focused productivity and collaborative engagement. Close collaboration with Northleaf, along with key partners Cresa and SDI, ensured that the final space aligned with the company’s operational goals and created an enhanced, functional work experience for all employees.
