Children First provide services for families with children up to six years of age who are at risk for or experiencing mental health challenges or developmental concerns. They were looking to relocate their existing office from Quality Drive to 2565 Ouellette Ave. in Windsor and replace all the workstations and specialty areas. POI was one of three companies that quoted on the new office and were selected because of their proposed solution that diverged from their original workstations, including suggesting height adjustable desks which was supported by the staff. Children First also has a great ongoing relationship with POI and the budget was on point.

POI provided detailed drawings and renderings to help give the client a great visual of what the workstations and product would look like. The package included finishes, furniture layouts and realistic visuals.

POI also did their physical move including reinstalling existing furniture which they were re-using mostly for their private offices. Having one company handling the relocation and installation of new furniture was an added benefit.

Aside from introducing height adjustable desks into workstations, POI proposed other changes to key areas. Children First wanted to get away from the traditional desk and chair configuration in their Community Room. Jenny Lounge chairs with tablets were proposed allowing for a much more functional and comfortable set-up. They wanted a fun and colourful space for the children and loved the Smith System solution for their Multipurpose room.
